In this lesson, students compared how different animals’ eye structures help them survive in their environments. They analyzed pupils and lenses, then explained how those structures affect vision in light and dark conditions. I chose this sample because it highlights critical thinking, science vocabulary, and students’ ability to connect structure to function.
