This artifact includes student work samples and the rubric I used throughout our figurative language unit. I used the same rubric across all seven projects so expectations stayed clear and consistent for every student. Even though each project allowed for creativity and different responses, all students were graded using the same criteria for understanding, effort, accuracy, and following directions. This reflects my commitment to ethical teaching practices by keeping assessment fair, transparent, and consistent while still valuing each student’s individual ideas and creativity.
